Actually it´s a modern day fashion issue.If you look at primitive peoples, their women are often barechested and it´s always been like that. It depends on the specific society and cultural backgound.

I find it a little weird that so many people are uncomfortable with the half-naked students. Yes, predatory adults might take advantage, but it's the same as them taking advantage at a swimming pool. Little girls have no breasts, the upper body is the same as the boys. There is nothing to hide yet. It's not unusual for boys to run around in just shorts or pants, it should be no different for girls at that age. |
