litigation no ohter answer. we pay tax dollars all over the country to have animal control officers and special units to stop animal abuse.are we doing this for just dogs? i don't think so. citizens are held to a certain behavior on how we are to treat animals why is this officer any different? he just didn't care. my brother is a vet police officer and he said the officer was insensitive to the situation. no way it should have taken that long to give a ticket and get a check on the driver's lic

also his partner was trying to help the dog, no one will tell the whole story, it doesn't make good news, let just say this yes the officer had a slip of tongue which shouldn't have happened but mr gonzales will also never say that he acted like a moron especially since there is an emergency clinic a lot closer south austin, but he won't tell you he acted like a mad man screaming she's dead, just remember police officers are humans too with families, many are animal lovers too

they don't usually give escorts b/c what would happen if mr gonzales had an accident then all the idiots on here claiming Officer stephens head should be on a platter already b/c the dog was already dead, would then be saying he should be held accountable for mr gonzales life which he had already put in jeopardy along with everyone else on the road, reality check folks the cop did his job and mr gonzales didn't help it go any quicker

yes, it was foolish to speed and endanger other lives on the highway, BUT, everyone at one time or another has been in a situation when they drove over the speed limit due to emotional issues. This policeman could have handled the situation a little differently and acted as a "public servant" instead of acting as he did.

Handled the situation poorly my assHe handled it like a uncaring twat.

If I was the cop I would have handled the sitution a little bit different. I would follow right behind them with my lights turned on and get them to a emergency clinic to try to save the puppy. they may not be humans but, for some the are like children to them.

Michael and Krystal should have hired a lawyer straight away before going on these tv shows. They should have prepared responses to those questions. Paul Stephens can dine on a smorgasbord of shit

the san marcos police dept. are arrogant and rude.i know firsthand, when they used excessive force on a 48 women arriving to a crime scene.she was not involved in the crime.her sole purpose for arriving at the residence of the crime scene was to collect rent money from the owners--who were the ones in trouble.she was tackled and beaten to the floor.the woman had to be taken away in an ambulance, thats how bad it was.

I'm not going to pick sides here, but how exactly did you see the entire 20 minute video? I thought they weren't releasing it due to the possibility of it being used as evidence in a courtroom. |
