Also, as a side-note, I think it's interesting that this video begins with a quote from Orwell- even though he did indeed speak of some of the potential dangers in Communism, people seldom remember that he did so AS A COMMUNIST! Yes, Orwell was a Communist! He was warning of a potential degeneration of Communist systems, but never intended to make statements about the overall benefit of communitarian governments (a benefit he obviously believed very strongly in the existence of).

China is communist in name only: the truth is China has the most hands-off approach to dealing with big business than any other country on the planet! America actually has stronger social policies than China! America is actually a combination of Capitalist and Socialist policies.Better representatives of socialism would include Sweden and Norway, and even Germany, France, and Great Britain. To attack Socialism or Communism by way of China's system is nothing more than the 'straw man fallacy'.

We simply need the money to be spent in a fashion acceptable to the people. The problem isn't big government, it's *stratification* and *hierarchy* within government that are the problematic elements.

Idiot hicks don't want to pay taxes... I'd be willing to pay 100% tax, if it meant being provided with everything I need! Instead of everyone being provided for, these libertarians want us living like lone savages! What matters is not how much we are taxed- it matters how that money is spent. If the money goes to good causes which ensure that all our needs are well provided for, why complain?
