I'm trying to figure that brick falling thing out too. But then they also seem to be using a small hoseline for that size fire. Took them way too long to pull out the big guns and put it out. Looked like they were sitting around shooting the breeze

Once they turned on the latter hose not long - all flames were gone within about 20 minutes from when I quite taping. Not sure how long it was burning before I arrived.

I know! she barely even lifted her head - and I can confirm that in real life the bricks hit just as close as it looks on the video - the ground shook under me. crazy.

Can you say collapse zone? These firefighters seem very casual about being beaned by bricks.

I can't remember the street but it was off of the Lodge heading in to downtown detroit, I believe it was around the Wonder Bread building, I saw it from the street and worked my way back there following the smoke until I found the building. I could check the time stamp but I'm guessing it was around June of 2000. Take care, let me know if you have any other questions. Steve
