Just because they're in an indie band doesn't mean that they're not making the series just to make money. Actually, that's why their making it.I think it's alright that someone learns about good bands through guitar hero. I just hate it when people get that one song and never even try to listen to the whole album.

I wonder how good my generation would be at music if they spent the money they used on the GH/RB games alone on a starting guitar and could actually get into it.It's pretty ridiculous too in some songs where the GH version is way harder than the actual guitar version would be xD

I actually agree with AaronRes. I think RB/GH cheapen the music. It'd be one thing if you were actually playing guitar on the game, but I think the whole "hit the right button" is totally pathetic.

when i got rock band 2, i only got into sonic youth about a month earlier so i was only familiar with their hits and daydream nation, so when i saw that this song was in rock band 2, freaked out

I had never heard Sonic Youth before playing the games because of my age, and after hearing them I went out and got Daydream Nation and Goo and I love them to death. Who cares how you first heard of them, what's important is enjoying the music.

why is the game retarded? What's your problem? The games are fun and for the most part have some great songs on them. Is it commercial because you pay for it, after it cost millions for the companies to make? Despite the fact that nearly every employee in Harmonix is in some sort of independant band I'm sure they're only making the games for the money? Elitest scumbag
