I remember from way back seeing a one off tv show of a band called Nelsons Column that Derek used to play with along with many of the absolute greatest sessioneers of the time. It must have been late 70's at a guess. The show was presented by Spike Milligan. It featured amongst other numbers a rendition of 'we've only just begun', the Carpenters tune and Derek was absolutely stunning. I wish someone could post that original TV show. Does anyone else remember it?

Derek plays on a Giardinelli 7S. But its the OLD version not the new, which is not in production. They will, at much expence, reproduce one on special order.
