No b/c it will not stick. Asian people usually call it "sticky rice", but the rice bags will say "sweet rice". I don't know why b/c it's not sweet.

if you use sweet rice,to make sticky rice,its comes out much more better. The grain is a lot larger and in my opinion sweet rice is better over all.

I love sticky rice. never cooked it in the microwave, i always steam it, it`s great if you don't like using a microwave. But I want to try it, it looks faster. also it's great to know how to pick a ripe mango. |
