The only "accident" that's ever happened was this advertising campaign. I have never been a big fan of WSIB advertising and this just confirms my dislike.

now where did you get that 98% statistic... you know that 51.4% of facts are made up, and i got that fact from the back of a hooters wet nap, if you should know

If I was at a funeral and the dead guy sat up like that, I would need therapy.

This is an awesome commercial! If you look back at 98% of all "accidents" you will find that somewhere along the way, someone recognized the danger or possibility of something bad happening, but went ahead and carried out the task anyways! We always seem to think that we can protect ourselves from anything and then when the painfully obvious happens, we call it an "accident"! Nobody is forced to do work that they feel is unsafe in Canada! It is up to YOU to keep YOU safe!

FYI: CON-pensation is not a word in the English language. Its COM-pensation.

There really are NO Accidents... You would have to be retarded to believe that there are NO ACCIDENTS.Workers CON-pensation CON ARTISTS would like to blame injured workers for every injury. If there are no accidents why do you need autobody repair shops, OR Doctors who specialize in operations to fix broken bones; This is how CON-Pensation CON ARTISTS DENY injured workers HELP... FYI: sending injured workers back to work injured on meds causes further accidents.CON-pensation SYSTEM SUCKS!

This messgae is particularly important to employers. "you never fully trained me to work on high voltage" and "what was I thinking, not wearing my proper safety equipment?" It does indeed make a pretty strong statement.Know what your responsibilities are. Give your people the proper training and equipment to do thier jobs the best they can and safely. |
