Karajan also married a partially Jewish woman.. while he was not exactly the most morally upstanding person (joining the Nazi party opportunistically, to further his career) he was one of the most talented conductors of the 20th century.. but even if you can't stand Karajan, you need only pay attention to the real genius here, Beethoven :)

Astounding... So Heroic. Karajan has great control of the Berliner Philharmoniker. They know exactly when to play or not.
