I'm french, so again, I should know. There is a negative and a positive connotation to the word- it largely depends on context. If you want to say that something is "serious" or "deadly", meaning good then the word to use would often be "terrible".Example: J'ai vu un film terrible hier soir!Don't be an ignorant douche.Grosse pute, va.
