Under the geneva convention, terrorists are to be prosecuted under civilian law. There was never supposed to be a category of people outside the law.civilian law? for prosecuting terrorists on a battle field? terrorists have no rights in any situation, but yet at GITMO they are treated better then our POW's.You need to research before you post. Russia attacked Georgia 1st. Russia had all those troops and armor near the border, they didnt move all that over night.Wheres the U.N in all this?

I thought the Nazis respected GC when dealing with westerners.Of course, Russia was fully prepared/expecting a georgian conflict. No one we ever faught abides by the Geneva convention is my point.This is what cost us Vietnam. O course it pisses me off when our troops get executed, what the hells wrong with you? Russia is no less of a communist country then they renounced communism. Srew the Geneva convention?Or do you really mean that you think the US specifically should be above it?I'm pretty sure that every time americans civilians get killed, US troops executed or other nations use WMDs it pisses you off.Russia seems to abide by it, and I don't think their leadership is weak ^_-.To counter the point: You don't know wether they were militants or just random kids, because they don't get trials lawyers or evidence. What happened to being innocent until proven guilty?

george3444,excellent point!I have countered liberals with this and they have no reaction.The liberals are so concerned with Iraqi civilians but they dont care about our civilians when they get their heads cut off or our troops killed. McCain is a liberal.He wants amnesty for the illegals to.Screw the Geneva convention, no one abides by it except for weak leadership. FDR locked up 100,000 plus Japanese men/women/kids and he is still lauded because he was a socialst. Bush locks up 4 or 500 militants busted on the battlefield and people think the sky is falling.
