well then you dont know your history, scotland voluntarily accepted the act of union. look it up. comparing it to iraq is like comparimg the northern territories with the rest of australia. some of your points arn't that bad your just far too bias

I tend to follow the view of a great many ex pat Scots here in Australia that Scotland like Iraq is under "occupation" :). We only have an Octagenarian woman for a Head of State because Pollies here have only given us one chance to vote otherwise and as I said before...the offer they made was 1) Queen or 2) Australian Head of State but WE THE POLITICIANS CHOOSE WHO. We said GET STUFFED - we only have one chance to get this right so we will wait for another vote (2010) and WE CHOOSE = the MODEL.

1st of all scotland is part of britain and, second dont embarrass yourself by saying if you were english you wouldnt allow a scotsman to be pm, when an octoganarian english woman is still your head of state when she lives on the other side of the globe and rarley visits. as for your other points i agree, and?
