Terrible cover. And my opinion has nothing to do with race, religion or other. This is just plain bad.

I do totally understand where people are coming from when they say it's lost it's power, because Bono famously has been incredibly emotional in his live gigs. But Saul obviously appreciates how powerful a song is, and tries to push it in a different direction to an equally important issue. Please remember that bands/artists don't always have a say in their videos. As for the new sound, it's Trent Reznor's doing more than Saul's. if you have beef with Trent I'll go nuts.

That was a reply to an earlier comment someone made; it seems a little random now lol. Some people seem to insist it's a song about Ireland, it can be used as a general protest song quite easily.

Bono has said over and over it's a protest song in general. It's named after a massacre in Derry in 1972 but he's used it over and over in different contexts singing about different massacres in Ireland by different groups of people, the British Army, the IRA, and others. If U2 want to use it as a general "protest song" it makes sense if other want to do the same.

Three days, the government hasn't flagged anything.

I can really feel the message when Saul sings it. I feel like i want to take arms after listening to this. Now the government will flag this video.
