I find the whole script kinda... Weird at this point... It doesn't even really fit to what they're singing. Maybe to the music, but not to the words. ... And Don Giovanni surely can't be his blackest opera, can it? I mean, even the Magic flute is darker at times.

I had a horrible sixth grade class, but when we watched this movie, and especially this scene everyone was silent and taken in by the power of it. The Don Giovanni scene commanded the attention of a 6th grade class full of delinquints.
