A timelapse of the total lunar eclipse on February 20th, 2008. Recorded with still images. Thanks for the feature! peteherron.comThe image shakes because the moon moves during the night, obviously. It's hard to keep the moon in the exact same spot of the frame while it's constantly moving. The sound was from video that I recorded for the purpose of giving the timelapse a more real-time feel to it. Thanks for all the discussions.

I remember seeing part of this eclipse late at night. It took too long XL . If only they went this fast.

noooooooo, retard, it happened because the earth went between the sun and the moon.

yeah, like how during a sunset or rise you can have a red/orange sky.

it happened because the moon went across the sun

i wonder why the moon doesn't "turn black", i mean, why doesn't it disappear completely like the sun in a solar eclipse? why does it become red instead?
