If speaking in front of a congregation actually cost her votes instead of gained votes, do you think she would still do it? She represents the worst of American politics - openly combining church and state while claiming otherwise, and claiming religion for the Republicans. Either people in MN are idiots, or the guy she was running against was.

Michele Bachmann shouldn't be running according to her church WELS (Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod). They don't allow women to vote in church elections, or hold power over men in anyway. She also believes that the Pope is the anti-christ and that Catholics are scum.
