I've installed Apache on my server and want to use my domain name (I got from GoDaddy) to work for my website. Do I have to go through and do things this way somehow?

Subdomains are optionalat this point right?. They are usually not needed by small companies or beginners. But I've found subdomains helpful when you want a different domain name for your Active Directory, web and email address. Well, this have work fine for me.
