actually in japan they are released as SUPER robot toy lines, where as gundams are REAL robot

Both toy lines were made by Takara, you're right (Now it's Takara-Tomy).

These are made by the exact same crew as the Transformers. Actually, the Japanese TF series Victory is sortof a Brave "prototypes" in a sense.
