Most of the time when programmers write flat C code is because they can't think object oriented. C++ is not less efficient at all.

unforutantly they don't seem to have changed the interface since the BeOS, which is a shame. BeOS was very cool, it's good to see it's still kicking around. if they can improve the interface to be as good as the rest of the system this will be kick ass
