Yeah discovering bands isn't boring although you do get bored if they start sounding very similar.

Yeah but how boring would that be? If we all just accepted what other people listen to I mean that's common sense so why not a little fun here and there, nothing wrong with getting people to think. Hah, no homo, I'm not a male. Yeah I used to be like that with music but then I realized there weren't any pure punk then I realized people could praise the music they listen to all they want but whenever I praised my type of music I'd get slandered for it. :smiles:

I can't stand metal either and those bands didn't start metal, the term heavy metal was coined by a punk rocker named Mike Saunders of the Angry Samoans. I'm a true rebel, everyone around where I live were really into metal but I was one to never follow along and I got crap for that, oh well, I listen to bands with real substance such as Crass, Stratford Mercenaries, Conflict, Meteors, Bratmobile, Bikini Kill etc. Real Rebel Music, I'm not this rock star snob, it's a lot to explain really.

Well you seem like a nice person, I do know that you're being sarcastic though but I'll answer anyway, no I don't hate this genre because of one band. I've always listened to bands who were real, no strings attached. There's so many bands that sound very similar to this one and why people are into it, I'll never know because to me it's just fake.
