its always funny reading comments where people are trying to explain what emo is... its always regurgitated shit from wikipedia.. i fuckin hate wikipedia... its all fucking wrong. Emo doesn't exist in the eyes of Ian Mackaye and Guy Picciotto. And Fugazi arent a band you can place in a single category or genre.

i don't see them as emo... they are like a blend of post punk and sludge metal almost... they are way to raw to be emo. like ffreekk said, they are kinda like minor threat-ish...i 'de classify them as early hardcore...
