that is messed up that she did not even get a phone call about the movie dreamgirls. in life u have to give credit where credit is due. she is the originator and she be given 100% her props and credit for that. but god got her back and i know he is still blessing her. u will always have fans jennifer!!

She's right. Life just isn't kind, and she's obviously very bitter and still harbors a lot of resentment for the way she was treated. I can't say that I blame her, but at some point you have to just take a deep breath and be thankful for what you DO have and let of what you think you SHOULD have gotten.

I think its a shame jennifer holiday got overlooked for an outstanding performance but its such a shame she can't give hudson the recognition for HER outstanding performance which she really does deserve, both are exceptional talents just from different generations, I hope they both get the recognition they desrve.

What is amazing to me is that how Jennifer could hit such amazing notes that NO ONE else can hit and yet she does them halfway through a Broadway show after moving around and singing, and yet she STILLS sounds better then everyone else

I hear such an overwhelming sadness in her voice. Hollywood/Broadway has locked her into the role of Effie, unlock Jennifer Hudson who now has a career outside of the movie. This is just another cruel reminder of what the industry does with extraordinary singers like Miss Holliday: they get forever branded as one thing and not allowed to branch out and be creative. Such a shame...
