Actually. this is one of the best lessons i have seen to illustrate improvisation!! theres no easy way to explain it cos it comes from the individual, but this is a great way to show how to go about it! great stuff thanx!

You miss the point. If you understand what the Pentatonic scale is, you see it's entirely based off of it.

Excellent material. Very instructive on how to play functional. Notes are related to each other and improvising is about building and releasing tension. That is more than running up an down a scale. After understanding how to play meaningful phrases you can play with real soul. Thanks for posting.
