Ok it's time I had my say. You can dislike hate or love the music of Matchbox, that's your choice, but don't call me a racist,and don't call me a phony. We toured the States back in 1980 and I'll tell you this NOBODY even knew what the term rockabilly meant, they were ignorant of their own culture until WE, i.e. Matchbox, Cavan, and half a dozen other British bands introduced them to it, and that's a fact. I know the records were commercial,we lost control of production but we are not phonies.

Dammed good guitarist though...this group was excellent until they went commercial then they lost the raw edge they used to have before....so often we sacrifice!! thanks for posting!
