which country because cessna is a canadian company and I seriously doubt that they will be even able to make a private jet run off by solar

I like the Crustacean Mustang. My sister plays with a pink one that has Barbie on the side of it.

that would be cool to have a 747 for a private jet. it'd be hell to keep up, and fuel though. I still think one of the ultimate private planes would be a DC3. I love the way WWII era piston driven planes look, and sound. Especialy the f4u.

There is a difference, you know, about futuristic and STUPID. Do you really think solar power will ever be able to power a jet? Look up what a jet engine is, it cannot run without fuel. STFU.

You can buy some full-sized Boeing (like the charter ones) from the '80s for under $2,5 mill. So yes, you can :) I don't know about the state of the machinery, though :)

2.6 mil.? Can't you get a much bigger private jet for that. A used one perhaps?

i agree with you - but solar wont work for a plane until its in the air - the problem is how to get it in the air if it is using an environmentally friendly fuel.

"Old junk that didn't work"??The Mustang works just FINE.I doubt anyone interested in an VLJ would really care to have a solar-powered electric prop plane! |
