Yes, mint can be taken out. You can add any flavor you like to it if you like or you can just make it plain.HAPPY COOKING!

Good, But I have to say that using Dreid Chickpease (instead of canned) results in much more better tasting Hummus.

I was wondering if mint can be taken out of this recipe. I really don't like mint, I just wanted to know if it is a major ingredient or if it can be taken out??? Oh yes and thank you so much for your recipes cant wait to try them!!

Cool, thanks for getting back to me. I've tried so many different recipes but they all suck. I don't know if you've ever tried Mamouns in NYC or CT but they have the best falafel I've ever had. Same goes with their tahini sauce etc. Let me know when you get one posted. Take care.
