490lb useful load? 890 fpm climb? $111,500.00? Why not just go buy a used Cub or Champ, learn to use the rudder pedals?And built in China? Get real Cessna. What a let down. I guess I'll stop wasting time here and surf on over to look at used Luscombes, Cubs, Champs, Cheifs, and all kinds of other LSA eligible planes with almost the same specs for about half the price. Or, I could look at building a kit myself with better performance and specs all the way around for half the price.

Flying Magazine posted a press release that stated Cessna would be building the skycatcher in China. They stated that the market really needs this airplane. Sure it does. All the other LSA builders do not use slave labor and that is why they all sell for around 100,000. Cessna plans on saving 75% by building in China. Are they going to pass that savings on to the customer? I don't think so!!! I challenged Flying Magazine to call Bullshit on Cessna. Thus far no balls. Cessna owns Flying Mag.

well Chinese cars are coming to US sooner than most think... thanks to an American company for that for bringing them in...they will have an American Emblem/Nameplate on them though so most people might not even know...its DODGE !!! |
