Our Constitution is established, and has an appearance that promises permanency; but in the world nothing can be said to be certain except death and taxes.

not only all of that, but if people keep using all this gas, there will be less gas and prices will be EXTREMELY high

bias votes like yours are the ones that make sure american will never change for the better. Seriously, voting should only be done by academics, unions and councils. Average joe's/timothy's just cant handle making a choice beyond their own ego.

Newsweek's John Alter described tha propodsal "Themost irresponsible policy idea of the year". Obama's opposition against the war makes him more qualified for Presidency, but also the fact that he opposed McCain's and Shillary's stupid proposal. Are they so dumb not to realize that this would do nothing to address America's genuine energy problems? To the contrary, it would encourage oil consumption -- just about the last thing America needs.Greetings from Switzerland

But what if we put that 15 bil a month into developing new fuel sources? Then we wouldn't NEED a war to secure foreign oil, which, by the way, in case any of you are still completely blinded by mistruth, is the reason we are in iraq, not iraqi freedom, not democracy, whatever that means, not WMD's....Oil....simple, hard to stomach, but simple. We're running out of it, and it's too bad that nobody wants to put substantial money into future development. because one day, we WILL run out of it.

thomasandtanga : "they are going to save me $20 a month on gas and cost the federal govt a billion dollars a year/what a fucking moron" ok home slice. how much do you think this war is costing in both cash and national resources? Up to 15 billion a month....a fucking month homey. get your shit straight. a billion a year is chump change. This war is the biggest exploitation of natural resources if you ask me. and i know noone did.
DefJukkie (May 19, 2008 at 5:34 pm)
you've got to be kidding me dude(timothyred). so you're 18 now and you haven't gotten over the superstitious and not to mention racist assumption that the guy's middle name somehow connects his actions and views with anyone else with that name? "not so soon after our people died" are you kidding me? What can you stomach then? 4-8 more years of failing foreign policy and imminent economic recession....you're not even old enough to know what it's like to live in the real world homey. just wait.
