I agree! Colin and Jennifer did an excellent job! that's exactly how Elizabeth and Darcy are portrayed in the book! btw, this was such an intense scene, so awkward and embarrassing,yet soooo well played and believable, I love it!

The one with kiera knightly is soooooooo much better. In this both of them look so old, espicially the women playing elizabeth. I mean she supposed to be 20 years-old. Colin firth is a good mr. darcy but I liked Matthew Macfadyen better.

The recent P and P is so vulgar, so bad taste. There is no posssible comparison between the two versions. The first one with Colin Firth is inspired by Jane Austen, the other one by Barbara Cartland, apparently. .

Jennifer Ehle looks like not beautiful, Keira is the best for the part.Jane is also not the right , Rosamunde is much better.

She's Jennifer Ehle, and she's absolutly lovely :) I soo love Pride and Prjudice, but the new one with Keira.. nah, she plays Elisabeth too childish. Jennifer is the shit :P

Are you kidding me? Jennifer Ehle makes a HORRIBLE Elizabeth Bennet. Matthew Macfadyen was an amazing Mr. Darcy although I'll concede Collin Firth does him justice too. I fail to see the chemistry between actors though..
