Then Air is not free either, Depends on the deepest level of your definition of free. I think infinitely renewable is probably a better definition. Then you have to ask yourself, are you looking for the most infinite way to produce energy in the cosmos or just Earth. Things can be transformed and I guess whether or not it "consumes" something up when there is no way to renew it might be the paradox you are speaking of. ahHA! They use the term "Free Energy" because of the claims that there is no such thing as free energy. A scientist is then forced to say this thing works, but it is not free energy. Regardless of the definition these devices have working power, self-contained, with a surplus of kinetic potential.So no, it's not FREE, but if you call it free, people are enraged enough to challenge the claim. Some designs work, some do not.Some are hoaxes, some are not.

What I don't understand is, Sean isn't hurting anyone. No one. If you came to watch his video, he didn't solicite anyone, he just put his own video up. Not only that, He might have something that will help everyone. So be it? What's the harm? He's creating something positive, not at all meant to hurt a single soul.
