Definitely disagree. Obviously they never had to do MODERN IT tasks like encrypted transmissions from one, encrypted data on disk, encrypted backups, single sign on with Active Directory, log consolidation, ETL jobs, etc. from iseries/systemi or whatever they call it this week. If they did they would be calculating the HUGE savings of getting rid of it. You can get equal or better performance from Linux for far less costs and on non-proprietary hardware. Research options before using thing.
