to get a nice slow trot, do a half halt.basically, keep your heels down,short reins and pull a bit like you're going to stop, but keep your legs on. this should make your horse become more balanced. and if your horse is having issues moving from trot to canter, just keep giving the aid. dont let off. use your calves, if that doesnt work..use yours heels..and if not..carry a crop and softly tap him if he refuses to go. when he canters, reward him. msg me if you have any more questions.good luck.

This video is a very nice mix of loose horses and busy horses. It is very beautiful. They are so lovely and they shine in this video.

ur not suckish horseluva4eva123. it tok me 3 years to canter! lol. but try and let the horse bounce u out of the saddle, try and get your right diagonal tho. try to trot poles to, to get ready to canter, it helps u get balanced. walk them 2, its not babyish, i do this when i train green horses. ask someone to lunge u to. =D**GREAT VID WEASOME!!!**

anybody have any advice getting to use your knees at the posting trot and not your legs? i cant seem to get it. ive only been riding for 4 months but i havnt gotten it yet.. yea, kinda suckish i know. and how to get a horse to canter faster well not faster but how to ge4t it out of the trot and into the canter faster because my horse does a really fast trot that makes you feel like your going to fall off and i did once and i just wanna canter? lol so any advice is welcome:) thanks~amanda:D
