Really good and decent music died. Tom Jobim is, perhaps, the last instance of that is left to mankind. May he be at peace, and may us live under his chords.

There is no like Jobim. I love his music, played it for my kids when they were growing up, now...they all love it the same way as I do. Wouldn't go a day without his music. Nothing like this anymore. Where has all the good music gone?

Antonio Carlos Jobim & Stan Getz were the music diplomats, that helped to expose the Bossa Nova to the world. Carlos wrote some of the most beautiful Brazilian standards.

Tom Jobin of course was a brillant composer and musician who left us to early and this song is one of my alltime favourites! But - however- does anyone have the version of "Wave" mentioned in the video by Oscar Peterson?
