RamboJonesin, Where did you encounter a persuasive argument that Democracy is a bad idea? Radio? The newspaper? In a book? Which medium has all this wisdom? Yes everyone should stop watching tv. No, Democracy is not a bad idea. And democracy IS mentioned in the Constitution. 'Republic' and 'democracy' are synonyms with slightly different connotations. Who is behind this YouTube-wide campaign against democracy and how can we stop them?

Walking around with a t-shirt that says "McCain is right. Obama thinks he's Jesus." helps to get McCain elected. It's a pro-McCain t-shirt. And what's worse, it's a smear. Barack Obama is a smart talented regular guy from a modest background who has worked incredibly hard and has been successful at everything he's done. He's is confident and he knows that it's not really all that hard to do a better job than Bush or McCain would do. Why try to help McCain tear him down?
