Normally RUSH doesn't have much of a heart. They're very clinical, and I don't care for them.But this song blows me away. The atmospheric playing of Lifeson, the power of Peart, and the sad whine of Lee come together with the music and lyrics, and even this video, too, and just kick huge amounts of ass. I hope they got a gold medal for this.

They do not have music degrees. Alex and geddy started playing together as rush when they were still in high school. Neil joined after the first album when drummer john rutsy quit. They're awesome, I've seen them 15 times.
