Even the Sainted Bill Clinton utilized PMC's for logistical and combat support. Mercenaries go back to the beginning of warfare and have been used in every American War going back to the landing of Coloumbus and Cortez...Obama will use them too.

This seems like more of a slam on the right side of the house than an a objective report.I agree that the war on terror has created an unfortunate market for the private military company and I agree that private contractors should not be policing the U.S population...(HELLO TRAFFIC CAMERAS!!!) but what about the "revenge attack" comment? In a war do you not strike the enemy where they offer the most consolidated resistence? What about P-E Obama's idea for a NATIONAL POLICE FORCE!!!???!!!

Jeremy Scahill is just plucking figures out of the air and showing negative/one-sided footage for 'shock value'. If the Government doesn't know the numbers (how many personnel and what they actually do), he surely doesn't. These videos are clearly only being made in the hopes he gets picked up by one of the major news networks as an 'investigative' reporter. Problem is, you need to have both sides of the story. You have only one. Why bother.

they cut her beggining lines of obviously. they simply cut in the 40 cents of every dollar part. they didnt even hide it very well. what money are they talking about? taxpayers money? the fund for hiring "mercenaries". betcha anything they are talking about a specific fund for "mercenaries". which would make more sense? 40% of money for the iraq war going to "mercenaries", or 40% of the fund for hiring such people going to blackwater, which is the biggest company, thats why it gets 40%this is bs

lolololololol... yes hes right theres alot of them buggers. but guess the fuck what. more than 95% arent even armed with assault rifles. alot of these "mercenaries" are armed with handguns and dont FIGHT! or even go into true combat zones. this guy is just being a paranoid retard. love how he says that fallujah was attacked because of blackwater lol. fallujah was attacked twice, both time by the marines. first time due to political reasons they had to withdraw. 2nd time, no siege, just victory.

Yeah I was pretty much telling merkinbjerkin that.I know in German that means Blackwater but I told merkinbjerkin that I never heard of any German praetorian unit by that name...so I think thats pretty much fake. Just like you said, The SS and the Gestapo were the praetorians of Hitler. Not some group called Blackwater in German.
