Not really. Between the shit music that gets put in those kinds of games, Pixies are a breath of fresh air. It's why I was so excited when I saw Dinosaur Jr and Sonic Youth on Rock Band 2. It's nothing more than a way for the bands to reach a new audience, and I see nothing wrong with that. If they can make a few bucks off it, more power to them.

If you were in a big deal band 20 years ago and the snotty nosed 18 year old son of one of your biggest fans (who happened to be the CEO of a gaming company) came to you with a million bucks in used notes in a suitcase to use one of your tunes in a game........I dont think you'd turn it down! But then again it could be that 4AD saw they could make a lot of money and licensed it to whoever, to put in a game..........because they own the rights to the song......and they could make a lot of money!!

Yes but grunge, punk, and alternative kids and teens attention They all make money

Some times you have to go another route to get known, because of the death of the music industry, thanks to the big companies owning all of the stations and not playing new stuff.

it pisses me off when they put alternative rock, punk or grunge on games because their music isn't supposed to be about making money, but the game makers still use their music to make the game.
