you think cleveland williams completely recovered from a magnum shot to the stomach that made him lose half hes internal organs? completely recovered? thats nonsense mate seriously, he was never the same after that, but who would be? and of course father time was also gonna play a roll in hes downfall after such a injury :)

i believe Ali when he says "That CW had some hard punches." I also think that Cleveland was in great shape for this fight and completely recovered from that injury at fight time but he couldn't beat father time. I mean kudos to Cleveland. He was there. he was in shape. He went out to a prime Ali..who some say was the greatest ever so no shame in that.

Ali was doing the shuffle and at the same time connecting with a flurry of punches. That sort of co-ordination is amazing, no wonder his opponent looked totally dazzled!

not just shot, the man was shot by a .357 magnum, to even be living after that is amazing in itself, but to keep fighting after that? incredible. he lost 70lbs after the incident. its a shame that many people consider this alis best fight, because williams was really in no condition to fight, so to speak :)

are you joking? you think its POSSIBLE that foreman, frazier and ali would beat marciano? lol get out of it mate, marciano was hurt by an old jersey joe, foreman would of killed the man. ali whom was never knocked out (stopped against holmes for obvious reasons) would just be knocked out by marciano? where liston, frazier, foreman, shavers and lyle failed? yeah, of course. points or stopped via cuts for ali, knockout by foreman and could go either way with frazier, but id pick him for the ko :)

Sadly for Cleveland Williams he died after being struck by a car in 1989 I believe. After all of what he survived he had to die tragically regardless. The BEST knockdown I've ever seen WAS this clip though right at 1:10. That's probably the PRETTIEST combination from Ali EVER!
