As much as I respect you and thank you for your courage to stand up for the truth, I have to CORRECT you on your statement "religiously driven people do things that don't calculate in a rational way". The CORRECT description should be RADICAL ISLAMISTS OR ISLAMISTS EXTREMIST do things that are irrational. You make it sound as if ALL religious people are irrational.

Like most politicians, Gingrich has a fundamental misunderstanding of the motivations of the enemy. That is, they perceive American foreign policy in the Middle East as an attack on Islam. Naturally, they declared war. When we address that reality and stop painting them all as religious zealots with no reason or logic we might have a serious debate about it. I'm not holding my breath.

He reports that a Muslim participant was disarmingly frank about the purpose of Islamic settlers in pluralistic Western societies. Addressing the Xtian delegates frm Europe, he allegedly said: "Because of our religion, we will invade you; because of your democracy, we will destroy you." If we aren't willing to fight for our own traditions then we don't deserve to keep them.

A sobering video indeed. You might hate the commies but at least they think in a rational way and can be dealt with in a rational way. Putin/Bush might be ruthless/imperialist/whatever but at least their intentions are understandable. Oil, territories, influence etc. A real muslim will kill and die for things that are completely dreamt up.

"What's stopping them?"Assuming they do have nukes, I believe the 99.9% certainty that Israel and US will nuke all their cities and destroy their country. Does that make sense? Though to be fair this logic won't work if the guy with the nuclear launch is a Muslim who believes Allah will reward him afterlife for nuking those infidels.
