how can you go from a science class that says that evolution is scientifically equitable to INTELLIGENT DESIGN to a college class where people aren't dumbasses? They can teach their private kids all they want but don't put them in the same classroom as me where they are likely to fight the teacher every step of the way like "isn't god a more suitable theory", "Who said carbon dating couldn't be off by a factor of a million", and "stop attacking my faith with your darwinian religion". lol

"The uniform, continuous transformation of Hyracotherium into Equus, so dear to the hearts of generations of textbook writers, never happened in nature."-George Simpson, [...]the short lineages they USED to show in museums was misleading in that it showed only part of the tree from eohippus to the equids leaving out a lot of other lineages simpson was correct about that over simplified lineage being misleading to laymanmodern museums & textbooks dont use those over simplified imagesand?

What does that mean? It means the exact same thing as geography classes taught from a Buddhist perspective. Or mathematics from a Hindu perspective.Frankly, the girl in the video reveals how distorted a view of science she's gotten when she talks of the theory of evolution and the theory of ID. Only one of those is a scientific theory, the other is an assertion.tl;dr If I saw her applying to my uni to study a field of science I'd be... concerned that she doesn't understand basic terminology.

well how we got here is pretty well understood we all started as energy from the big bangwhen that cooled a bit, you got hydrogen helium and probably lithium clouds of H and He condesced to form stars stars formed the rest of the elementsthe elements make up our bodies and the earth and other planets....see...simple if you want to believe that God did it, well, that's ok ..but this is HOW S/He did it

wonder what the rest of that quote was since real geologists DONT use circular reasoning to date rocks ..only creationists do

I LOOOOOOOOOOOVE this. Your economy is crumbling. You are in a quagmire of a war. And now you are losing your footing in the sciences. That's what you get for reelecting Bush.
