Think Skordy52 doing these style videos now, does not have BBC accent but depth of insight provides key to scholastic learning.

An unintentional, yet effective companion to this series would be Threads (Thames TV?) which follows very much the same theme. If those connections we have with each other through technology are rent asunder -- by, say, a nuclear attack -- how would society cope? You can imagine the answer.I watched Connections regularly and even received the companion book when I was 13 yrs old. It has patterned my thoughts ever since. It also turned me on to Britten's War Requiem (opening song)!

To think that the nation used to settle down to a programme with the subtitle 'an alternative view of change' during prime time... Those responsible for that particular change should all hang their heads in shame.
