Yeah and Hitler had nothing to do with WW2 because he didnt benefit. Yeah terrorists dont use phones and say 'on the 11th we attack'.. and the NSA has enough people to listen to every phone. i don't know if this is all true or not, who benefitted who did not, but i can say one thing terrorists have only one purpose mass destruction and they succeeded in their purpose, we in india have been facing terrorist attacks since since many years and mind you for lousy reasons, they plant bombs in schools,trains,garbage any place you can imagine,and only god knows what do they want,may be even they do not know, why do they kill, rather then doing something constructive,but terrorists exist..

You have only proved that gov members and corps have used the aftermath of disasters to their own benefit. No kidding. That always happens. Supposedly, people get that and that's why they were voted out. But, since you have purposefully left out the religious and recruiting elements, then you aren't giving the full picture. I could just as easily claim that the purpose of this video is to spread distrust of the US government by a foreign power (for their own motives).

Your premise is wrong. You attempt to place logical reasoning onto fanatic, religious groups -- who spread by demonstrating their importance. The first terrorist assault on American soil demostrates their importance to prospective recuits. Their ability to demonstrate a warfare victory, demonstrates to recruits their mastery. You also don't factor in the economic cost to America -- which was the main goal. Terrorism works by making a country kill itself.

dont think the who has most to gain point works. because other terrorists attacks have made things much worse for the attackers it doesnt mean they havent done them. Striking first doesn't always mean you are going to benefit. Just look at Pearl Harbour hardly helped the Japanese if anything they lost more desperately because of it. |
