A nice market niche selling 80's tv shows on DVD now that we're around 30 and got alot of nostalgia and the cash to back it up.

The pilot (think it was Dash), is the cats owner. The cat probablys wanted to go with him. It's a known fact that sometimes pets ride with their owners in combat, read about one German Shepard who flew with his master in world war 2, the plane was shot down over water, and the dog helped drag several injured people to safety. The dog was lucky also, they got picked up by the germans, but the next day the Navy caught up and rescued the men. Dog was called Antis, and won a medal for his service.

the intro was the best part of the show...never had an epic "macross" battle like that

These old American shows always had the best Japanese-produced intros, full of anime OP cliches (MASK, Thundercats, Spiral Zone, and GI Joe come to mind). Then when it came to actual show, the animation sucked. |
