My favorite graduations have always been child-centered. Make them short and sweet. Introduce the child. Talk about Montessori and how it has helped the children and how they have grown up the past several years. Thank the parents, then let the children play on the playground. Doing too much tends to put the focus off the child.

biz4kids,Not sure if you're asking about Montessori as an "industrial age style of education" or not. I would like to point out if you think Montessori does not prepare people for a digital, service-oriented age, be sure to google the names "Larry Page" and "Sergey Brin," both of whom have said how Montessori was beneficial to them. I could discuss others, but since you mentioned the digital age, those are two you may want to take a closer look at. |
