who is these WHITE PEOPLE..... for the National instrument of TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO why didn't they get the Local Indigenous folk Born and Bread from Trinidad to show you the OLD SCHOOL way to make a Pan without all that "convenient" technology... ???? If you want to make an accurate documentary it should be as factual as possible..

I just watched a two part episode on the diy network showing the history and talent of Ellie Manette. It really did him justice. His manufacturing techniques are almost identical minus only the sonic measuring device.

i just recently watched a two part program on the diy network that features the history and talent of Ellie Manette. It really did him justice. The process he uses is very similar to this video as far as layout with markers, magnets, rulers, and strobe tuners. The only thing He didn't use was the ultasound measuring device or what ever it was.

i did not want to say it but its shit total nice try but you know we got it down ,the finest makers (Gay,Guppy,Butch, Sampson,Halts). These are the people you need to be looking for.why not buy something from its home and enjoy having it and you could say i got it from its origin well. a potter is a potter and the hand hammered pan is the finest of all.
