I was at the Edmonton vs. Dallas game last night and they played this epic! The whole rink was singing and stompin' their feet to the beat. The best part of all was that the linesman let the song finish before he dropped the puck!!!

Amen to that, Bring back, the Quebec Nordiques, Winnipeg Jets, Hamilton Bulldogs.Not teams like Nashville, Florida, and the worst of em all Carolina! Edmonton was robbed in 05-06, Carolina had their best and barely beat a severely beaten up Buffalo Sabres squad. Then escaped the Oilers having a BACKUP!!! Bring Back Hockey to its Homeland. In CANADA!

I almost hate to get a little serious on you folk, but here goes: I became a Ranger fan in 1957. I was hooked. But at that time no television-not radio-covered hockey. So I took my radio (a 5-tube superhet) and aimed its antenna north. Got Hockey Night in Canada with Foster Hewitt doing the play-by-play and the Hot Stove League between periods. Intelligent. Not Coach's Corner. Got me interested in Canada and I've been hooked on the CBC ever since. So I'm an American who reads the Globe & Mail.
