like all great Italian cinema, it is both sad and beautiful at the same time. but more than the others this one stands out.truly the BEST EVER ending to a movie in any language!

giusto! sono americano, ma mi noni era siciliani. ho tanti parenti a messina. come tutti cinema italiano era trista e bella!the best ending in the history of the movies!

la película me encantó, pero fue esta esena la que me robó el corazón. Hay quien me dice que es una pel cursi, igual y si, per hasta lo cursi puede hacerlo con calidad

Quzas una de las escenas finales mas bella del cine y mi pelicula favorita con la argentina el lado oscuro del corazon..forse la scena finale piu bella del cinema e uno dei due films favoriti da me (altro e il "lado oscuro del corazon" films argentino)...

I saw this movie last week.. The Director's cut... is unique... probably the most emotional film I've ever saw... I couldn't help but crying at the end..
