Let me rephrase that ;Most songs are written in a state of emotion,But this is a genre where the more sad part of your emotions show, showing sadness or something along the lines. And Wikipedia is not a dictionary, it is a website where you put your thoughts upon certain things. You can edit whatever catches your attention. Anyways, it really doesn't matter if they scream it or not to call it "emo".An artist could scream about sunshine and it would not be emo, not showing sadness.

Hey man u have a point in saying this isn't emo and thats true. But saying u hate mexican emos. U just dissed timoteo rosalles the 3(I Am Ghost). He is one of the greatest post-hardcore guitarists there is and he is mexican.
