Hearies? haha I like it,My mother used to teach a mute girl back in the day and I picked up a couple of signs along the way.What I dont get is why do deaf people clap by waving their hands in the air?(in New Zealand anyway)I know you can't hear it, but it's still a sign.Are you guys against hearies that much you have to abolish all connections with them?lol no offence.

Im a second year student at Gallaudet, I took a linguistics class when I was a freshmen - and I actually did a research project on that. I've compiled lots more slangs so I could show ya if you're interested.
