From aclu.org/jarrar: Raed Jarrar is an Iraqi-born architect and human rights activist who was barred from boarding a JetBlue flight at John F. Kennedy Airport for wearing a t-shirt that read "We Will Not Be Silent" in English and Arabic. On August 9, 2007, the ACLU filed a lawsuit against JetBlue and a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) official charging that they illegally discriminated against Raed based solely on the message on his t-shirt and his ethnicity. I guess putting TSA on the headline was a way to get more viewers. TSA don't care what you wear. hell, they would probably laugh when they read a shirt like that. Quit blaming TSA for everything..

i find it funny that ppl blame TSA for this even though it was jet blue for the start of the problem. Just because they say goverment officer doesnt mean that it was tsa. and it prob was just some white lady who talked to a jet blue angent and complaned about how jarrar looked so how most ppl are byest he had to go through that. TSA does not care what ppl wear ive seen ppl come in the air port wearing fu TSA and they dont care... well that is in LAX then best air port in the US

You are of course aware, that Raed is a human rights activist and the t-shirt bore the slogan of the Anti-fascist German group, The White Rose, that had its leading members beheaded by the Gestapo?
